The Cineflex V14 is under 15inches in diameter. Despite its small size lenses can be interchanged. Either 11 x 4.7 with doubler 42x 9.5 with doubler or 22x 7.5. Equivalent angle of view on 35mm is 12mm to 2400mm!
Mounts available formost helicopters, I commissioned the UBM bracket so the cineflex could be flown to its limits on AS350 helicopters.
SR format or HDCAM can be used in cockpit as can uncompressed S2.
Live standard def picture can be down linked and new HD liniks are available.
Out of the box the HD camera is 1/2 stop less sensitive than digibeta camera, but can be tuned to be as sensitive.
Use of new collimation devices ensure accurate back focus.
Can be used without glass port for very critical applications, generally not necessary though.

Its small so apart from the ohhs and ahhs from the back seat the pilot doesn't know its there..
Gimbal is nose mounted and can shoot forward backward left and right. Skids will eventually come into shot if camera is not tilted down.(depends on angle of view of lens. This can be minimized at some speeds by crabbing).
The system can be shipped as accompanied baggage. HD VTR can be rented locally.
Gimbal can be mounted on crane, tracking car or boat.
